Anna Dybiec is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Language and Culture at Ignatianum University in Cracow, Poland. She earned a PhD in Linguistics from the Institute of Philology at the University of the National Education Commission (Polish: Uniwersytet Komisji Edukacji Narodowej w Krakowie, UKEN), Kraków, Poland. Her research primarily focuses on Translation Studies, the expression of emotions in translations, and the concept of retranslation. Additionally, she has shown interest in the literature of Charles Dickens, having published a chapter entitled “Male – Female Relations in Charles Dickens’s The Cricket on the Hearth and its Polish Renditions”, and articles regarding changes in emotional expressions in translation: “Transformation Seen through the Prism of the Translations of Emotive Stylistic Devices in Charles Dickens’s The Chimes”(2024), “The Original Versus Translations Over The Years: Faithful Copies Or Translators' Interpretations” (2024).

Dr. Kadriye Bozkurt is an Assistant Professor at Bolu Abant İzzet BAYSAL University in Türkiye. She completed her MA in English Language and Literature at Atatürk University with a thesis entitled “The Fact of Madness in Joe Penhall’s Plays”. She received her Ph.D. from Pamukkale University with a thesis on “The Tragic Experience in Tim Crouch’s Postdramatic Theatre”. She has published articles and book chapters, including “Modern Trickster in the Play Love and Understanding”, “Revisiting Shakespeare for Young Audiences: Tim Crouch’s Shakespeare Adaptation Plays”, “On Islam and Feminism: Muslim Women on the British Stage”, “Reconstructing the Presence of Theatre in Nature: Nature: A Walking Play” and “Edward Bond’s theatre and his educational play, A Window”. Her research interests include English literature and drama, contemporary drama, women’s literature and cultural studies.

Dr. Olgahan Bakşi Yalçın studied English Language and Literature at Ankara University between 1996 and 2001, and she received her MA in the same program from the same university in 2009. She holds a doctoral degree in American Culture and Literature from Kadir Has University, İstanbul, Türkiye. Her primary areas of study include English and American literature, with a focus on gender and adaptation. Bakşi Yalçın is currently employed as an associate professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Türkiye. She has published articles and book chapters in both national and international journals and edited volumes, contributing to scholarly discussions on literature, culture, and gender. In addition to her research, she regularly presents at academic conferences, participates in interdisciplinary projects, and supervises graduate theses, further advancing the fields of literary studies and cultural analysis.

Krystyna Zabawa is professor and head of the Literary Studies Department in the Modern Languages Institute at Ignatianum University in Cracow. She graduated from the Jagiellonian University. Her fields of interests include Young Poland and interwar literature, especially poetry, female writers, children’s and YA literature. In 2013 she published the monograph entitled Rozpoczęta opowieść. Polska literatura dziecięca po 1989 roku [A Tale Begun. Polish Children’s Literature after 1989 with regard to Contemporary Culture] and in 2017 – Literatura dziecięca w kontekstach edukacyjnych [Children’s Literature in Education]. She is a member of IBBY Polish Section and IRSCL. She regularly publishes book reviews.
